BORO stepped up their pre-season work with a comfortable victory on the banks of the Clyde, although lost Didier Digard to a possible groin injury during the first half.
A feature of the team's performance was their crisp, quick passing, and Boro were full value for their win.
The opening goal came just after six minutes with a swift break down the Boro left. Emnes linked with Digard who swept a low cross to the far side, where Gary O'Neil had time to pick his spot and curl beyond David McEwan.
