New King at Boro.

Middlesbrough have wrapped up the signing of Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King on loan until the end of the season
.

The 28-year-old Jamaica international spent the first half of the season on loan with Hull City, but clashed with Tigers boss Phil Brown after being left out of the team for the weekend loss to Arsenal.

King scored five goals in 22 appearances for Hull, having been allowed to exit the JJB Stadium after just a matter of months with the Latics.

The frontman only joined Wigan a year ago, but scored just once in 15 appearances following his arrival from Watford.

He started his career with Barnet, before enjoying stints with Gillingham and Nottingham Forest, while he has also spent a short loan spell with Leeds United.

King's arrival at the Riverside is set to trigger Mido's departure, with the Egypt international making the move in the opposite direction to link up with Wigan.
